The Pool of Siloam

John 9:7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.  The disciples pointed out a blind man to Jesus. He spit on the ground and made clay with his saliva; then anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. Then the blind man was told to go the Pool of Siloam and wash his face.

Normally this would not make any sense to a person who wanted healing.  The blind man had to find his way across the city, locate the pool, fight the crowd that was normally there, before he could wash.  As soon as he had completed the order, he was completely healed.

There will be times when the Lord gives you instructions, but there seems to be no connection between them and the answer to the need you have been praying about.  The Lord is looking for obedience on your part, even when you don’t understand why.
